Our Beginning
CJ’s Machining inc. was founded in 1997 by Jerry Vickery in a small rental unit with just four manual machines and two employees. Like many entrepreneurs, Jerry worked tirelessly with little time off, reinvesting everything back into the business to build something lasting. Driven by a strong work ethic and a commitment to producing high quality machined parts, CJ’s Machining was established on principles that still guide the company today.

Today, CJ’s Machining operates out of a 16,000 square foot manufacturing facility equipped with advanced CNC technology. We were the first company in the country to receive ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification and are currently in the process of obtaining ISO 13485:2016 Medical Device certification. Carrying forward the same dedication and standards, Chuck Vickery and his sister Jeri Ann manage daily operations and lead the future direction of CJ’s Machining.

On January 1, 2012, CJ’s Machining transitioned to a fully digital manufacturing environment. Computers installed at every workstation allow for secure transmission of company and customer data, ensuring the protection of proprietary information. All data is securely backed up at two separate locations for added protection and reliability.
Environmental Responsibility
CJ’s Machining is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of manufacturing. We recycle all swarf materials generated during the machining process, along with waste coolants and oils. LED lighting has been installed throughout the facility to reduce energy consumption. Our transition to a fully digital manufacturing floor in 2012 allowed us to eliminate paper usage on the shop floor, and we continue to reduce paper use within our offices as well.
Contingency Planning
In 2016, CJ’s Machining installed a 150 kW natural gas generator capable of powering the entire facility. This system ensures uninterrupted production during power outages and significantly reduces the risk of downtime.
